Chrissy scored this vintage typewriter for me. There is a house for sale at the end of our street--I was nosey and wanted to see what it was like inside, so I went online to see the photos. I saw this little beauty sitting by itself in an empty room, and knew it wanted to come home with me. Chrissy worked her magic and voila! It's home. Canon 5d.

Previous path of the railroad, now a rail trail. Great for running, hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Nikon D40.

On our way to the mecca for book making enthusiasts. Handmade books are an art form onto themselves. Talas has hundreds of handmade papers, and an extensive supply of book cloth, including some spectacular Japanese specialty cloths. Sadly, they only sell by the yard, so unless everyone wants one for Christmas, the $49/yard (for my favorite) is somewhat of a deal-breaker.
Shot with the little Canon Powershot. (I hate every photo I take with this thing! A necessary evil, my beloved Canon 5D would break my back if I had to carry it around all day. An upgrade on the travel camera may come soon.)

Old letter press type. Found a "flea market" type of thing on our way to a destination point. It was HUGE--we could have spent hours there. They sold everything from war medals (that seems so wrong), to African carvings. Lots of old photos for sale, including mug shots from the 30s. Very interesting. Canon powershot.
