My grandmother Jeanne was a quilter. She was also did cross stitch, crochet and embroidery. While she never worked outside the home, she worked her butt off inside. She was extremely productive during her lifetime. I'm proud to have several pieces of her work. Here is a block for your enjoyment. We miss you Nana! Canon 5d, handheld, flash.

Have I mentioned that I hate winter? Can you find the hidden sugar crystals? How long until spring?

I have an exercise facility where I work... it's called having patients on floors 2-6, and having to see them multiple times in varying order throughout my day. Sadly, some days that's the only exercise I get...

Oh boy, it's a winter wonderland. I shot this from the warmth and comfort of the 4th floor at Beverly Hospital.

Sadly, the yummy salmon color is lost when I upload this. (I had the same issue with the photo from last night.) You'll have to take my word on the color. Its spectacular in real life! Canon 5d, 12mm extension tube for close up, monopod, no flash.
PS: If anyone knows how to correct my color problem, please leave a comment!
