Long ago at a place known as IHOP I saw this image for the first time. I always wanted to reproduce it to see if others saw the same thing I did. We'll find out. Nikon D40, blah, blah, blah

My mother has been kind enough to pass a family heirloom down to me. Thanks Mom! She received this cookbook as a wedding gift, nearly 50 years ago! As you can see, it was used often. It contains such classics as "fluffy meatloaf". From the notes in the margin, my mother disagreed vehemently with the proposed ration of pork to beef. I'll take her word on that one. Canon 5d, monopod, autofocus.

This is my attempt at being artistic.  I'm much better at natural shots.

Today is a 2 for 1 deal. Godfather Robert came to dinner last night. I'm calling this one "cause and effect". I wish I could splice these together, but alas, beyond my ability at the moment. Canon 5d, handheld, flash.
