Valentines day is all about special treats. Gary and Luna got some loving today, with homemade mint, parsley and basil dog biscuits. If they are good puppies, they will share with their doggie friends. Canon 5d, flash.

2nd Annual Sledding Party sponsored by a coworker. The conditions were great, but I had to do a little more and built a jump over a stone. The results were usually the separation of person and sled.

Captain Crunch. Our morning started off with a militant trainer who put us through the ringer (and then back again, c'mon, just two more). Anyway, at this point in the day (when most people were still asleep), I could barely hold the camera up to take the shot. We had to do crunches with weighted medicine balls, and we couldn't let our feet hit the ground during extension... Go Jean.

Good old Friday the 13th. Full of black cats, ladders and broken mirrors. And how was your day? Canon 5d, flash, hand held. Special thanks to my friend Diane for donating her nifty calendar to the cause!

I wish I had not accidentally deleted the photo I selected for today. That's what I get for waiting until Friday the 13th to post . . . This will have to suffice. Canon 5d.

Moonlight on the clouds. The picture isn't perfect, not even good, but it reminds me of what originally inspired me to take it. Originally, the clouds were covering the moon, and the undulation in the clouds, the contrast of light and dark, it was the most amazing thing.  It actually looked like a cage protecting a glowing orb.  By the time I ran inside, grabbed the camera, and came back out, this was what was left.

I found this little minx in an antique shop on Sunday. In a former life, she would have graced the top of a pincushion. She is just so saucy! I love her. Canon 5d, extension rings, flash, handheld.
